Kings Dominion Adds Perks for its Youngest Fans

Kings Dominion Planet Snoopy Expansion 2017

Kings Dominion is expanding Planet Snoopy by adding three new rides and a new event space and upgraded food and beverage locations. The new rides are designed for all ages which offers whole families to enjoy the fun of the park together.

The first ride, called the Kite Eating Tree, is a preschool version of the Drop Zone where children and adults will be lifted to the top of a tower and bounce down to the platform as they experience sensations of weightlessness. Sally’s Sea Plane will take kids and adults on a trip round-and-round on a giant plane as it rotates and rises into the air. The third ride, Peanuts™ 500, will be a race car ride designed for parents and children to ride together as they move in a circle and quickly whip around the corner on a closed track.

In addition to the Planet Snoopy expansion, Kings Dominion is now offering a Pre-K Pass granting complimentary admission to children ages three to five years for the entire 2017 season. Online registration for the Pre-K Pass is now available and can be processed at the park beginning September 3. The Pre-K Pass includes one free visit during the fall of 2016 to enjoy the Great Pumpkin Fest in Planet Snoopy which begins on September 24.

Planet Snoopy is Kings Dominion’s kids’ area featuring an elaborate collection of Peanuts™-themed rides and attractions for every age including roller coasters, live shows, a gift shop and meet-and-greet opportunities with your favorite pals from Peanuts™ television shows and comic strips.

The Planet Snoopy expansion is set to be complete by the opening of King’s Dominion’s 2017 season. Planet Snoopy has been a family fun favorite at Kings Dominion since 2013.
