Biz, Bites & Beverages Brings Hanover’s Business Community Together

On Thursday, September 17th, Hanover County Economic Development hosted Biz, Bites & Beverages, a casual evening designed to bring Hanover’s business community together for good food, refreshing beverages, and lively networking.

Held at Woodside Farms in Chickahominy Falls, the event offered an opportunity for local business leaders, entrepreneurs and community partners to connect and celebrate the businesses and organizations that help make Hanover County a dynamic place to live, work and invest.

Guests enjoyed a variety of local touches throughout the evening. Jake’s Place Restaurant & Market provided the food, while Hanover Mercantile served at the drink bar. Shaken Not Spurred Mobile Bar added a selection of creative mocktails for the evening.

The event also showcased Hanover’s agricultural and educational community. Meadowgate® Alpacas brought two alpacas, Sasha and Finn, as guests, who quickly became the stars of the evening, while flowers from The Freckled Flower Farm and horticultural students at Patrick Henry High School helped create the event’s welcoming atmosphere. PowerUp Video captured the evening through the camera lens and Richmond Photobooth provided a fun experience giving guests another way to celebrate and create memorable moments.

Additional thanks to the Hanover Chamber of Commerce for assistance with beverages, Hanover General Services for providing sound system equipment, and to the Hanover Education Foundation and Hanover Parks and Recreation for providing the much-celebrated LOVE sign.
