Hanover Companies Named Company to Watch in 2009
Two Hanover companies have been recognized as Greater Richmond Companies to Watch (GRCTW) 2009. Marz Industies, Inc., a manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cell-based systems that provide air conditioning, heating and electric power for idle or idling long haul trucks, and SMASH direct, one of eBay’s Top 50 on-line resellers of pre-owned camera gear and musical instruments, were named with this prestigious designation by the Venture Club of Richmond.
The Venture Club of Richmond introduced this program to promote the entrepreneurial environment of the Greater Richmond area by highlighting businesses which have the potential to become significant contributors to the local economy.
The GRCTW awards companies not only on past performance, but for their ambition to disrupt an industry, introduce major innovation and take the risk to succeed spectacularly.
