Hanover Launches Updated Site Selection Web Service
Hanover County Economic Development has recently launched a new version of Site Logistics, a GIS based site selection web service. This updated version of the website is based on the ESRI Flex API and utilizes ArcGIS Server and the Business Analyst Online API. It allows map functionality such as zoom in, zoom out, and pan- users can now change the base map from street, satellite and topographic view. With this updated version users now have:
-Multiple, faster reporting options with the incorporation of Business Analyst Online data
-Improved ESRI data source. ESRI employs demographers to work with data vendors to source the best, newest information
-Site redesigned to help users easily find what they need
-Ability to run reports and locate businesses around any location in the County
