Kings Dominion Announces Mulimillion-Dollar Expansion Plan – 14 Acre “Planet Snoopy”
Kings Dominion will be doubling the size of their Planet Snoopy children’s area. Plans call to increase the “Peanut’s” themed portion of the park to a total of 14 acres with at least 12 new or re-themed attractions. This will be parent company, Cedar Fair Entertainment’s, and the world’s largest Peanut’s themed park.
New attractions will include a monorail overlooking Planet Snoopy, a Snoopy themed spinning tea cup and a ride that gives the sensation of hang gliding.
