We Want To Hear From You – Hanover Businesses Surveyed
We value the opinion of all businesses located within Hanover County. We want all Hanover businesses to give us their feedback so we can work together to foster a business-friendly environment here. To this end, all businesses within Hanover County (that have an address registered with the Virginia Employment Commission) have been mailed a postcard requesting their participation in an on-line business community survey.
Each business has been assigned a unique access code which will enable them to register their survey responses. We ask that an owner or senior manager go to the website address shown on the postcard invitation and enter the access code from the mailing label in order to complete the survey. We request that all surveys be completed by 6/27/2014. If you are a business participating in this survey, we thank you for your time. If you are a business located within Hanover County but have not received this survey postcard invitation, please contact us and we can provide you an invitation postcard and access code.
Participation in this survey will help local leaders foster a business-friendly climate in Hanover County. The feedback from Hanover businesses is very important to Hanover leaders; we want to hear what you have to tell us.
All survey responses are confidential and will not be publicly released. Also, businesses will not be required to respond to any question they do not want to answer (they can skip questions can still complete a valid survey). Responses by individual businesses to this survey are protected under the Freedom of Information Act as provided by Section 2.2-3705.6 of the Code of Virginia which deals with disclosure protections involving economic development reasons. Any survey reports generated will contain only aggregated or summary data.
The Hanover County Board of Supervisors has set a goal to update the Economic Development Strategic Plan by early summer 2015. This updated Economic Development Strategic Plan will guide economic development policy and efforts for the next few years, so let’s work together to ensure Hanover County finds its best path forward. This survey of the Hanover business community will contribute valuable data to this Economic Development Strategic Plan.
